Compact size with superior
audio Compared to previous portable air band transceivers, the
IC-A22/E truly is portable. However, the audio is not compromised
__ superior audio output that's easy to hear even without a
headset. Ergonomic keypad design provides convenient access to all
functions and a rotary control allows quick and easy tuning of all
frequency and memory channels.
Alphanumeric display The
IC-A22/E's function display features alphanumeric characters which allow
you to store VOR ID's, airport ID's, etc. into memory for easy recall and
quick visual recognition.
Built-in sidetone function The
sidetone function allows you to monitor your transmitted audio while using
a headset. An aircraft headset adapter is supplied*
with the IC-A22/E for this purpose as standard equipment. *Not supplied with some versions.

operation (at a duty cycle of 5 : 5 : 90/Tx : Rx : standby), The same as
