Introducing the latest TECNAM design, the P2002 SIERRA. Following the well received P96 GOLF, the SIERRA has been designed as the successor to the GOLF. With over 900 new parts, the new SIERRA low wing aircraft has been improved upon in every respect.

The most notable point to address is the sleek new laminar flow tapered wing. While the new wing offers far less drag and increased aerodynamic efficiency the design extraordinarily manages to be even more docile than the P96.

At a quick glance the SIERRA appears quite similar to the GOLF, however, every single surface has been reshaped to acheive the most streamlined design possible. Thanks to this design effort, the SIERRA has achieved a very fast cruise speed. For those who are not fluent in Italian, this translates into the new low wing being quicker on its wings than even the mighty P92-2000 RG. Some may be amusing their imagination at this point as to how fast the SIERRA would be with retractable gear. Fortunately, the Sierra will soon be offered with an optional retractable landing gear system.

The SIERRA has also been improved upon structurally and offers all metal control surfaces.
